| Wetherington Chiropractic Clinic Athlete of the Week Quira Porter with sister and teammate Bria Porter a junior at Calvary Day School |
Quira, a senior
forward at Calvary Day School, scored her 1000th career point on January 7th in
a victory over Treutlen County. Porter only needed two points in the game and
broke the milestone early in the game. Quira went on to score 20 more points.
Porter has been a force the past three years for Calvary Day School.
Quira, as a junior last year earned All-Region 3-A (East) first-team honors and
was selected to the first team All-Savannah Greater basketball team by the
Savannah Morning News in 2016.
