175 Days to High School Football But This Ones For Travis
This is a segment about the Tueday Blitz Countdown Show from the WSAV special on what happens behind the scenes of WSAV's Friday Night Blitz Game of
the Week. On the panel of the Tueday Blitz Countdown Show was Travis Jaudon a local guy from
Savannah trying to make it into the world of sports reporting. Travis is a an alumni of Savannah Country Day School and loves covering sports in Savannah Georgia. He is leaving home to pursue his dream to be a sports reporter in
Wyoming. Every story he wrote was from a true
Savannahian point of view. He will be leaving at the end of this week for his journey to the
northwest. The Show Behind the Blitz was produced by another Savannah guy Drew Hunt.

Savannah Area Basketball Standings as of 01.29.18
2017-2018 Savannah Area Boys Basketball Region Standings
We have entered the 4th quarter and the clock is almost out of time for this year's 2017-18 season regular
season for Savannah Area High School basketball. As of today
the standings have changed a little. On the boy's side of the court Richmond
Hill is one game out behind Brunswick in Region 2 AAAAAA and Statesboro held on
to a one-game lead over New Hampstead. In 3-AAA and 3-A, Johnson and Woodville
with a big wins last week have widened the gap for the number-one spot in their
respective regions going into their region tournament's next week.
On the lady's side of the gym, we saw Johnson hand Beach their second loss of the season and is a threat going to the region tournament and the state playoffs. Everybody else has held ground. This week's slate of games will set up all region tournaments and who gets their change to chase their dream, a state title.
