There were two young men in-house to receive the offensive and defensive awards. The offensive player of the week was Benedictine's outstanding all-purpose football player senior Travis Blackshear, and on the defensive side of the ball was Windsor Forest High School standout player junior Ulyeon Middleton.
Travis was the offensive player of the week as he rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-14 win over Toombs County. On the defensive side of the field was Ulyeon, who had 7 tackles and two sacks in a 43-14 victory over Johnson. Additionally, Both recipients thank the club for their award and got to listen to the Todd Stansbury. A big congratulation to both players for wining this prestigious award from the Savannah Quarterback Club.
