Local Class "A" Private Football Players Name All-State by Recruitgeorgia.com

Six local Class Private school football players were named All-State by one of the most popular recruiting sites on social media today, Recruit Georgia.com.
Calvary Day School placed three players. They were Jalen Leary, Taeguan Washington, and Sayyid Stevens. Savannah Country had two players, Adam Byck and Hawkins Pindar. Savannah Christian had a lone player who was Dylan McMahon.
Here are their write ups by Recruitgeorgia.com on why they were chosen and congratulations to the players named.

OFFENSE

RB – Adam Byck, Savannah Country Day
Byck led Savannah Country Day and the entire classification with 2061 yards, on a whopping 361 rushing attempts and 22 TD’s. In a 2nd round playoff game he had 327 yards on 41 carries, which help beat Mt. Pisgah 20-17.

RB – Jalen Leary, Calvary Day
Leary was one of the best two-way players in Class A but earns All-State RB due to his 1627 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground. He is a super-shifty junior from Calvary Day and absolutely a recruit to watch for this offseason.

OL – Dylan McMahon, Savannah Christian
McMahon is the best center prospect we have evaluated in the class of 2019. The Savannah Christian center has unbelievable strength and quickness at the point of attack.

K – Hawkins Pindar, Savannah Country Day
Pindar takes the All-State kicker spot after his outstanding season where he went 13-15 including a 54-yard bomb which broke one of the many school records he holds at Savannah Country Day.

DEFENSE
DL – Taequan Washington, Calvary Day
Washington from Calvary Day has made over 90 tackles per season since his sophomore year. This year the powerful lineman ended with 99, which led Class A private defensive tackles.

DL – Sayyid Stevens Calvary Day
Stevens his teammate at Calvary Day lived in opposing team’s backfields as well. The junior ended up with 99 tackles, 11 sacks and 32 tackles for loss. Fellowship Christian’s
