It was a pitchers dual at Savannah Christian on Friday afternoon. It was Junior Eric Ricks for Jenkins versus sophomore Red Raider Tyler Ogelsby. Ricks prevailed pitching an 8 inning "NO-NO" and winning 2-0. Savannah Christian which is one of the best hitting teams in the area could not get on base except for two hit batters.
Jenkins now is 16-1, ranked 9th in the state in 5 AAAAA, and has won 12 straight. The Warriors take on a tough Liberty County team on Tuesday.
