Two more Savannah Prep Athletes signed scholarships. First over on Wilmington Island, St. Andrew's senior Elizabeth Whitaker has signed a letter of intent to swim for the "Green Wave" of Tulane University. While at St. Andrew's, Elizabeth has been part of back to back GISA State Swimming Championship teams. After Hurricane Katrina, Tulane was forced to eliminate their swimming program, but this fall the sport storms back and Whitaker will be making waves for the Green Wave.
Randell Black of Windsor Forest signed a letter of intent to play basketball for University of South Carolina at Salkehatchie. University of South Carolina at Salkehatchie is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The Indians won the NJCAA Region X Championship this year. The school is located in Walterboro, South Carolina.
