This week's Wetherington Chiropractic Clinic Athlete of the Week is Bri Carney a senior soccer player from Savannah Country Day.
In only 11 games since joining the soccer team after the Savannah Country Day state quarterfinal basketball team playoff run. Bri has scored 22 goals and has 10 assists. Last week against rival Calvary Day School Carney scored 5 goals leading her team to a 8-4 win. This is the second time that Bri has scored five goals in a game. The first time was in her second game back on March 5 against Atkinson County High School.
Carney has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her soccer career at ACC soccer power Wake Forest. Carney was the Savannah Morning News Best of Preps Girls Soccer player of the year last year. The following was already posted on her bio page from Wake Forest. Congrats Bri!
