Benedictine Military School senior Brad Stewart the 62nd Ashley Dearing Award Winner

Savannah, GA - Benedictine Military School senior Brad Stewart, who has signed with Georgia Tech to play football, will be presented with the 62nd Ashley Dearing Award at 12:15 p.m. Monday (May 18) in the Academic Well of the Academic Building.
Stewart also won the award last year. He joins Calvary Day graduate Dom DeMasi as the only two-time winners of the award, which recognizes Chatham County’s most versatile male athlete. Stewart is the 14th BC student-athlete to win the award and the school's first since Lamar Owens, Jr., in 2001.
The award is named after the late Ashley Dearing, a former Savannah auto dealer and strong supporter of local high school sports. It is given to a male high school athlete in Savannah who has participated in football, basketball and a spring sport (baseball for Brad). The nominee who received the most votes from the Ashley Dearing Award committee was declared the winner. The BC Family is extremely proud of Brad!
